School is out, but around here that means we do more school work at home than usual. And it's not me, Jordan loves to work in his workbooks when he's not in school. Let's hope this continues when actual Kindergarten starts in the fall. I took some pictures of his little desk for this week. I think I'll better understand what "School's Out" means next year...
I did the math today and realized that we only have 52 days left until the start of real school, and only two more weeks where we'll be off, just the two of us, for our Wednesday and Thursday time. :( How did my baby grow up so fast!!
Check out how everyone else interprets this week's theme over at Kent Weakly's blog.
I think we also do more 'work' at home during the summer, the school year gets so busy. I also have one going into kindergarten this year, I hope you have a smooth transition!
ReplyDeleteYikes, I haven't done a countdown until school starts. I don't even want to think about it.
ReplyDeleteThose are sooooooo cute. Enjoy your summer together guys.
ReplyDeleteThat's such a fun age - so eager to learn. It's priceless to be able to see milestones reached in terms of learning, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteLove the detail and composition of your shots. Don't want to count the days until we are back. Summer is just too short.
ReplyDeleteWhen they are young the eagerness to learn is so high. Love the pictures of the school supplies. I do miss buying notebooks and crayons and markers:)
