This week when I think of water, I think of rain. It's been raining for days. Nothing too strong, but just steady and often. This has been the view of the front for the past few days.
It keeps us holed up inside so we have to get creative with things to do. I don't want to lose my mind. (For all of you with more than one child, just let me say it now, God bless you!) On Wednesday we pulled out Jordan's tent and set it up in the living room. He loves playing in there. He tells spooky stories to his stuffed animals and pretends he's having a sleepover.
Even the dogs seem down when it rains. Abby gets super nervous, so she follows us around the house and then wherever Abby goes, Shelby must follow. Since they just got groomed recently, I gave them some time on the couch to help them relax.
I grew up in Florida, so when I saw your first picture I thought "that looks like home!" Look to see if you give your location, and realize that I did recognize the rain/houses/vegetation.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the memory.
It's been raining in NY, too. Great pictures of the rain.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your post. Stopping by from P52.
ReplyDeleteRain! It rained here this week too, but not for long. Your little boy is cute. My 3 yr old is obsessed with the Mickey tent his aunt gave him for his birthday!
ReplyDeleteLove your first and third shot.
